What can I expect when I register?

Registration is simple and free of charge.

Initially you will be asked to provide basic relevant information via a private and secure website. This will take just a few moments of your time.

Once you have registered you can take advantage of the following services and opportunities:

• Up-to-date news and information from your former host University.

• Access to exciting opportunities for continued study, as well as Grants funding and exclusive offers for Alumni.

• A searchable directory providing members with direct and reliable access to/contact with Universities all over the world in order to safely foster new and old connections.

• Invitations to upcoming Local and National events in the US which relate to German culture and German education.

• A global support network for those who wish to engage in study, work or research in Germany .

As membership grows we will also aim to develop a searchable directory providing members with direct and reliable access to/contact with universities all over the world in order to safely foster new and old connections.

To facilitate future direct contact, we will share the data of registered alumni with their former host universities, German funding organizations as well as local German consulates and cultural institutes in the US. This way you’ll be able to independently strengthen your ties to Germany and the respective institutions you’ve been involved with.

Am I eligible to register?

To become a member you need to be currently living in the US and to have carried out one of the following:

• A study abroad program at a German university.

• Studied for an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree at a German university, completing it in Germany or elsewhere.

• Conducted research at a German institution.

• Held a teaching position at a German institution.
